Preparing for your first conversation with the firm

Preparation briefing · 3 min read

Our first conversation is an opportunity to understand what you want to achieve. You do not need to know the Dominican legal system to get in touch. A few simple details will help us put your project in context.

1. Introduce your project

Tell us whether you are considering a personal purchase, a real estate investment, a tourism project or a hotel. Include the proposed location and, if you wish, the intended use.

2. Explain where things stand

Are you starting your research, speaking with a seller or already working with partners? Mention any known deadlines and commitments already made.

3. Set out your priorities

Describe what you would like to clarify: project organisation, documents received, the parties involved, your timeline or the next steps.

4. Prepare an initial document list

A description of the property or project, key contacts and a list of available documents are enough to prepare the conversation. Agree on an appropriate channel before sharing confidential documents.

5. Choose your preferred language

You can contact us in French, English or Spanish. Please also mention your country of residence and the easiest way to reach you.

This worksheet helps prepare a conversation. It does not describe a legal procedure or replace advice tailored to your circumstances.
